pengalaman interview @ Dominos Pizza, Glenmarie

Anyeong! hello! hari ni aku nak entry pasal experience hari Jumaat lepas yg bersamaan dengan 17 Jun 2011.
Minggu lepas, hari isnin..aku pon gatal2 la..isi form kat web-job ni...jenjobs.com..aku pon dengan malas nya pun isi la..last2..selang bape jam pastu..de org call dari Dominos Pizza..

"Hello..Boleh sy brcakap dgn cik Nurul Abdul Latif?"

"ya..saya.."

"Okay..saya wan anna dari dominos pizza..cik nurul ada apply job dengan company kami kan?..through jenjobs.."

aku pon xbape ingat..sbb dek byk sgt web-job yg aku dah regist..dlm otak aku..ape??jenjobs? dominos?? bila mase la plak??..adeh..tengok!! tu bukti tuh..betape byk nye aku apply job secara on9 tp..satu pon aku xbley nk ingat..huhu..pastu aku pon reply kat akk tu..

"ooo..(walopon xingat..bajet ingat je)..okay.."

"okay..cik nurul boley x dtg interview kat glenmarie? hari jumaat-17 jun..pukol 10.30 pg..boley?"

"err..boley!boley!! (dgn bersemangat..).."

"okay klu mcm tu..nnti sy akn email kan butir2 interview tu ye..ok tq.."

chat by phone tu end gitu je..pastu..tetibe..pale aku penin..pk..bila mase lak? ade ke tdi aku apply dominos..check nye check..mmg ye..mmg ade aku apply..mak aih..cepat giler respon??..glenmarie?
ape tuh?? shopping complex ke? aduh..yela..anak jati nogori..mane la penah dgr name tu..google nye google..rupe2nye..tu tmpat industry..tmpat yg ade byk kilang..ala..mcm tuanku jaafar industrial estate..dgn senawang industrial park..alamak..camne la aku nk g nih? sok nye ak dpt emel dri sis yg call smlm..lengkap dgn map..(bagus tul..).tp still x yakin gak..maka..aku pon call kwn aku yg tggal kt shah alam..aku call si aini..alhamdulillah..dier pon kate glenmarie tu dkat giler dgn rumah dier..dgn itu aku pon confirm mintak overnite stay kat umah dier hari kamis ri tuh..

Hari kamis tu..aku drive la sorang2 dri senawang ke tol batu tiga,slangor..akhirnye smpai gak..walopon pakai aircond..berpeluh mmg x beragak la..cm berlari je dlm kete tuh..menciak2 peluh aku dlm kete tu..aku smpai je dengan instruction mmber aku ni..seb bek la dier ni pro gak..dlm bab jln2 nih..lepak2 umah dier smlm..and esok nye..ready to go for the interview..

sesampai je kat wisma dominos pizza yg besar giler babeng tuh..aku pon melangkah masuk kat dept. training/developement..agak la sunyi..ramai gak la candidate..x silap aku ade la dlm 7 org..bkn terus kena interview..kena isi form butir diri..ala..lebeh kuang same je dgn resume kite..cume beza..handwritten dgn typing je..pleik tol..dh mintak resume..masih mintak isi form yg lebih kuang same.pastu..kena jwab soklan IQ..nk test IQ la plak..pergh...xcukup dgn tuh..ade lak kena jawab soklan yg berbentuk "interview-in-paper"..(haha..ni rekaan term aku sendirik)..mksud aku..b4 kena tebiu dgn interviewer..aku kena jwb soklan interview yg dlm paper tu..

pastu..dh siap sume..aku kena tggu..lame gak la..dey jnji aku tebiu pukol 10.30..aku dtg kol 10 tepat kot..still xde sorang pon di interview lagi..aku org yg ketiga di tebiu..cuak! nebes! sume ade la..tp xde la..nebes tahap tab mandi..base2 je..sbb aku dh ade byk gak la pengalaman g tebiu private company nih..wat cm bagus je..yg penting speaking kena fluent..pedulikan je grammar ke pe ke..jnji speaking..
masuk je..dlm bilik tebiu..interviewer tu introduce diri dier..nama dier abdillah. post dier country manager.

"okay nurul..i give u time to introduce urself..whatever u want to tell about urself..u may start.."

aku pon dgn speaking ala2 "nigahiga" (korang bley tgk mamat ni kat utube.aku nye fave utube celeb)..citer la..name aku..family aku..sekolah..u..pastu..kos yg aku amek kat u..pengalamn kerja aku..sume la..dah dier suh citer an..aku citer la byk2..siap citer lagi..pengalaman g tebiu yg lepas..pastu aku siap ckp ag kat interviewer tu..cengini..

"i've been so many interview before..but out of 8-9 interview..there's none interviewer know what my courses is up to..and nobody knows what is the relation my courses/degree to the job that applied.."
"no one knows..what is sociology & anthropology is all about.."

ha..amek ko! sejibik aku bg..aku dh penat..explain course aku yg besaw nih..pastu dgn humble..interviewer tu reply..aku nk perangkap interviewer tu nye knowledge..

"yeah..yeah..that's right..i also dont know.." (haha..kantoi gak)
"what is socilogy is?"

"sociology is the courses that could help company prepared in any deveploment of an organization..because this courses/student who studied thos courses know all social criteria like age/gender/ethnics/races/environment/economic/politics and so on that would affect someones in work and the development of the company.." (perrghhh..dasat x aku explain..tu pon sbb aku stadi b4 nk hentam interviewer tuh..)

pastu encik tu reply.."that's good..good explanation..excellent..i also don't know ur courses are that important..(tau pon ko! puas ati aku) from what i've seen in ur resume u're more on teaching line..why u apply for this job?"

"i have an experience in admin..as asst admin when i was doing my internship at UTM skuadai at post-graduate department of IT faculty..I believed if ur side give a freshies like us a training in management..i think there will be no problems..besides..a graduate is a fast learner..plus, this job ads also state there're tarining given..am i right?" (lantak..lantak..speaking je..hujah je..)

"yeah..right.."..pastu..dier pon citer gak la..experience dier..cmner dier bley jadi country manager..dier sbnar bknnye..budak u yg amek cos bisness ke ape ke..dier dak civil engineering..oleh kerana ssh nk dpt kije time dier grad..tu yg dier kije pasrt time kat dominos n rezki tuhan bg..dier nek pangkat lak..dgn post yg dier pengang skunk ni..dier kate..aku dgn dier same je..pastu kate..

"u're good student..nurul..i don't think u're suitable to this job..i dont mean sth means..but for me..u're too good enough to be given to this job..(pulak dah..asal b4 ko call aku suh dtg xtgk resume aku tol2..sengal seyh..)

"u know..from ur academic..having such this pointer at UIA..it's difficult..and it's required a work hard and sacrifice..(dlm ati aku...taw pon..aku pon kdg2 giv-up gak blaja kat uia tuh..rase nk nangis pon ade..)

pastu aku x ingat dier bebel ape lagi..yg aku ingat..dier kate..dier nk bg aku chance do OJE before training start july 4 nih..OJE tuh..ON JOB EVALUATION..aku kena OJE sbb aku xde experience dgn F&B industry..(food&beverage)..selama 5 hari..klu ok..aku akn g training asst. manager tuh..hmmm..makne nye..aku kena la tggu emel dri kak ana yg kol aku tuk tebiu tuh..tengok la hari isnin ni cmner..lagi cepat aku wat OJE..lagi cepat aku g training..

macam2..citer an..tu baru dominos pizza nye style interview..belom yg previous2 interview..bagi sape2 yg xde pengalam di interview byk kali..aku harap korang g la..cari pengalaman tu..sbb..penglaman tebiu tu pnting gak..klau stakat gaji ciput..tp still nak duk kat di takuk itu je..idup kite xkan berubah..waktu muda inilah kita nk cari penglaman sebanyak yg boley! try cari kije yg boley bg kite skill credit kat course yg kite amek mase blajo dulu..contoh korang nak kije admin tp penglaman yg ade casher jer..dah tentu org tebiu bg ko post marketing/purchasing..

aku bkn nk galakkan mnjadi insan yg pemilih..yela..skunk ni an..nk cari kije susah..ape yg ade bedal je..tp ingat....bedal pon..jgn smpai terjerat diri sendiri..sok menyesal..

oh ye..b4 aku telupe..soklan paling senang encik tu bg..is.."what do u know about dominos?"

aku jawab.."dominos is retail/restaurant that sell products and services which is kinds of pizza..and delivery ..and of course the obvious competitor is pizza huts.."
